Scheme No.410, showing a proposed Crankcase Filler and Breather, was left at West WitteringHenry Royce's home town by Mr Hives about 11.7.21. No policy has yet been decided upon with reference to E.20742/3-Crankcase, with increased number of bolts to maintain a satisfactory oil tight joint at high speeds. The works report that approximately 200 Top and Bottom half crankcases are in hand on "P" Series. BY/Shn. | ||
