Dear Sirs,
For the attention of Mr.R.Fowler Clark.
Your letter of the 12th. inst., has been handed to us by the Sales Department for attention.
We have duly received the Model.2D. Dynamo which you returned to us, and for which we thank you. We note that you are retaining the cutout, and shall be glad if you will keep this as long as you require it. We should be very pleased to hear whether you have made any tests on the new type of Dynamo, and whether you find it satisfactory.
With regard to magnetic hum, when testing these special machines, we coupled them to a specially silent motor, and were unable to detect any hum, at speeds up to 2000.rpm.
Hoping to hear from you with reference to this matter.
Yours faithfully,
p.p. S.SMITH & SONS. (M.A.) LTD.
Archibald C. Lock
