Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} C. Hay GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} 200L 3. B. IV. PETROL PUMPS. During yesterday's run, the petrol pumps stopped working on four occasions, but would start again if knocked by hand. We have made a careful examination. The diaphragms are in good condition and the contacts are opening correctly. There are rubbing marks inside the pot where the disc behind the diaphragm has been touching. We are sending you some brass distance pieces which have worn flats on the sides, probably allowing the rubbing to occur. These have been replaced by others which we have. The pumps are now working well and have given no further trouble. ------------- Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GWH{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux}/HFH.{Hoppy F. Hamilton} H.{Arthur M.
