Dear Sirs,

Your Ref: Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}9/R.{Sir Henry Royce}

On the return of our Mr. H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} Rutter we are much obliged to you for the courteous reception which you gave him, when he discussed with your Engineering Staff the application of our Morse Chain to your "Bentley 60" model.

He has acquainted us with the points which you discussed, and we are glad to think that you are meanwhile, proceeding with your tests, using the 1/2" pitch, 1866 NBB type chains sent to you on the 14th June.

In accordance with Mr. Rutter's request we shall be interested to have returned, for our inspection, the chain and sprockets off your preliminary test, at the conclusion thereof.

With compliments, we are,

Yours faithfully,
THE MORSE CHAIN COMPANY LIMITED

Managing Director.
