With reference to the quarterly list of cars in the Experimental Dept. BJ. writes as follows. Will you please let me have your remarks on this, so that I may reply:-

" Will Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} also please carefully consider whether any of the cars on the experimental list can possibly be spared for sale, and let us have any that can be spared as soon as possible. It will be easier to sell Silver Ghosts at a reasonable price during the next few months than if we leave them over until the price has considerably depreciated owing to the introduction of the New PhantomCodename for PHANTOM I. At present it has not had a great influence on the price of second-hand Silver Ghosts, but we expect it will do so before next season. "
