RE STRUTS ON FRAME FOR AVOIDING DOOR RATTLES.
( See T.C. minutes No. 75 )

These struts have been fitted on 1410 xxxxx car as arranged. The car tested stationary for deflection without the struts fitted, and loaded to bring rubber buffers on to the axle; increase of deflection between centres of struts was as per sketch. That is at centres 6 1/2" from bottom of frame.
Tested on the road the struts do not cure badly fitted doors from rattling but certainly improve the " match box " effect.
To further test the effectiveness of these struts
