Messrs. S. Smith & Sons, Ltd.
Cricklewood Works,
London, N.W.2.

For the attention of Mr. Nicholls.

Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter of the 9th inst. referring to the experimental 20/25 instrument dials. Our Sales Dept. have also now advised us that they have approved, subject to slight detail modifications, of the new dials.

With regard to the petrol gauge, this should show litres and gallons as per our drawing D.53603, copy of which is in your possession.

We note that you are forwarding to Conduit St.{Capt. P. R. Strong} a complete set of instruments and should be glad if you will advise us of the date when you hope to send these along for inspection. If possible we would like a similar set of dials sent to Derby, also for inspection.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
