x5840 To Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}25/KW.15.3.35. 10,000 miles test on 20/25 with Smaller Wheels. We heard from Hn.{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders} on the 'phone to-day that you have allotted GAE-20 for this job. We have been going over the parts that we should like to run and we find that several of them are already on 21-G-IV. For instance, the lead bronze bearings which have recently run 15,000 miles could with advantage be run further. 21-G-IV is up-to-date as a chassis, therefore we think it might be more expedient and economical to run this car than to take GAE-20.
