Dear Sirs. For the attention of Mr C.S. Steadman.

Referring to your letter of the 20th ult the new Colorstat is a vast improvement on the one which I returned to you in that, generally speaking, the temperature of the engine is now raised to between 75° and 78° Cent. whereas before, even with the available adjustment so adjusted that the connections between Colorstat and shutters were in tension when everything was cold, barely 70° was the average under
