DEPOT SHEET Hm.{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs}118.

Reference to Hm{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs}/SB{Mr Bull/Mr Bannister}9/KW11.11.29. This sheet embodies all the information at our disposal at present. We are still working on the subject, however.

The line investigation is at present taking is

(1) Method of preventing oxygen being absorbed in the water and so causing corrosion.

(2) Method of preventing loss of water which at present takes place when radiator is partially choked.

(3) Means of scouring the interior of the head and block and so removing the deposit more easily when cleaning out the system as explained in Depot Sheet Hm.{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs}118.

We shall be unable to tell whether the steps we have already taken to overcome the troubles are successful until we have information from Depots of cars in service.
