To BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from R.{Sir Henry Royce} c. to CJ. c. to PN.{Mr Northey} c. to SP.{Mr Spinney} c. to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X3725 R1/G9.5.21. X.3725 - RE GOSHAWK 11 - DUNLOP WIRE WHEELS. With reference to Dunlop wheels for Goshawk 11, I think we must ask the Sales whether they think it is worth while putting the Dunlop people to the expense of producing a wheel to suit our requirements. The second point will be to find out if any improvements can be made in the dimensions of the one we have under consideration. We must not propose anything unless we are sure that it is better, lighter and simpler, and more practical even than our 40/50 H.P. which was redesigned by us at LeCanadel | ||
