Standard Phantom.

This has switch positions "off", B, M.B.&C., M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore}&C. and is arranged to break the armature circuit somewhat later than the field circuit in passing from M.B. &C. to B.

Experimental Phantom with Magneto in every position of SWITCH.

This has switch positions "off", M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore}& B., M.B.& C., M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore}& C. and was intended to be used with an additional magneto switch cutting out the magneto in each 'on' position of the switch! The relation of armature and field break is as in the case of the standard Phantom.

S.S. as originally arranged.

This has switch positions "off", M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore}& B., M.B.& C., M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore}& C. It is arranged for use with an additional magneto switch, but so arranged in conjunction with it that the additional switch can only cut out the magneto in the M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore}& B. and M.B.& C. 'on'positions. This switchbox also has dynamo armature contact extended to the M & B. position of the switch and therefore not broken until the 'off' position is reached.

EFC. Modification of S.S. switchbox.

The description of this is that of the experimental Phantom switchbox as regards the inside and switching arrangements, but has S.S. outer casing and tail.
