To EFC. X76258 BY/RD2/ML1 7.7.28. DATA STARTER MOTOR. Reading through your EFC1/T.30.6.28 again, I note that on page 4 you assume that having 3½ and 6½ turns per pole already made for the motor you have (9-EX) if we make a 4½ and 5½ you will have a complete range, however, it was thought advisable to make the data machine as near like the E.A.C.10 motor as possible and therefore the machine RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} is building will be complete with its 4 sets of field coils and the motor you have (9-EX) will not be used in any way in connection with the data machine.
