Specification of the above Engine is revised as follows:-

PASSED TO TEST 14.12.33.

Crankcase & Bearings LOP.E.36040.

The following new parts fitted:-

1-E.36596/2 Crankcase (T.H.) studded on "A" side only.
1-Set of Main Bearings E.40163-4-5-6-7-8 Produced in RR. Lead Bronze.

Remaining parts to complete are existing.

Valves & Fittings LOP.E.40218.

Complete to the above LOP. fitted ex. Kestrel 6 Cylinder No.2. Unit but incorporating:-

12-Ex.12760 Exhaust Valves-tulip head type- Solid Stems - produced in KE.965 - Stellite tips - seats ground to 44 1/2 °.
12-E.28651 Inlet Valves.
24-Ea.E.38324-5 Valve Springs.

Complete to the above LOP. "A" side only. fitted ex.Kestrel 6 Cylinder No.2.
E.38916 Cyl. head "A" side.
E.38919 skirt "A" side.
E.36829 Liners modified to Sch.1630.
E.41389 Exhaust Valve guides BZ/PC -.437 bore to suit Bristol type Exhaust Valves.
E.12520 Exhaust Valve Seats -N.M.C.-.450 small bore.
