CONFIDENTIAL.

Messrs. Rolls Royce Ltd.,
Nightingale Road,
Derby.

For the Attention of Mr. Dodd.

Dear Sirs,

Many thanks for your letter of the 8th inst. and for your request for a supply of panel deadening material sufficient to cover a dash board.

As you know, we have been in the habit of using Silento, but we intend in future to use a new material called Mastic. We are sending you sufficient of this to treat the dash board, and we believe that you will find it a great improvement on the material previously used. We should like a report on it in due course.

With regard to the wings for 1-B-50, we have invited Mr. Evernden to call here and see them on the mock-up on Wednesday next, the 15th inst. If this day is convenient for him we shall be able to despatch them to Derby immediately he passes them.

Yours faithfully,

for PARK WARD & CO. LTD.

M.W.Thompson
