Temporary alterations to a dynamo's production inspection and test specification.

Would you kindly note that owing to the altered position of the control brush to 120° from the positive brush in place of 124° as heretofore, there will be three alterations in the Specification of Inspection & Test :- (1) In (1e), the distance of the trailing edge of the control brush from the leading edge of the main negative brush will be 16-1/3 segments. (2) The ampere output limit in par (5) will now be 11 to 12 amperes. (3) The speed for taking the open circuit voltage will be 540 R.P.M. in place of 550 R.P.M. These figures are given as a temporary guide, but when finally approved, a new copy of the Specification entitled Version 2. will be issued to you. EFC. | ||
