Referring to HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}8/MJ15;31., it was intended that the cross members should be taken down before the slipper wheels could be reached. The engine rests on the torque damper fittings. With reference to the clutch lubrication we did not anticipate that this would work while the engine was running, but imagined that it received oil at each stoppage.
