10,000 MILES TEST.

There are two features we wish to get on this car if possible.

One is a means of storing the jack handle, wheel spanner and starting handle under the bonnet. The Americans are asking for the same thing.

We think the starting handle is the most important of the lot because at the present moment the failure of the starter motor is emphasized by the ensuing search for the steering handle which sometimes means dislodging the rear passengers.

Secondly, we wish to have a rear light operated by the reverse movement of the gear lever to enable the car to be shunted in the dark.

We are still hoping for the design to enable bumpers to be fitted in a standard manner to cars.
