6103 To EJJ/JV. C. to JSO. Re Electrical Test Boards for Generators fitted to Engines on Test. With reference to memo. EJJ/JV.1/MM.9.4.37. We next require a complete assembly as fitted to No.9 Test bed comprising an 0-40 volt full scale voltmeter, 0-40 amperes full scale ammeter a 50 ohm 6.5 amps. Zenith sliding resistance fitted for back of instrument board mounting a 5 amp. tumbler switch. a 3 way switch and 3 canning load resistances of 1.3 ohms, 0.540 ohms, 0.392 ohms respectively to be fitted to the Sinfin Hangar. Similar sets are also required on Nos. 1, 8 and 17 beds. The ammeter, voltmeter, 3 way switch, tumbler switch and Zenith sliding resistance must be mounted on the existing instrument boards the load resistances may be fitted in any convenient position on the bed. Please note that the Sinfin job is most urgent in view of the forthcoming Type Test. After this in order of importance comes Nos. 17, 1 and 8 beds. Wst/JM.{Mr Morley} | ||
