Proposed Specification of 32-EX for 15,000 Miles test.

We give below the most important items to be tested on this car :-

(1) Petrol pump in frame.
(2) Overdrive gearbox.
(3) Aluminium front spring housings.
(4) Chromidium brake drums to reduce cost. Lead impregnated linings to prevent squeaks.
(5) New R.R. cheapened clutch with Long type centre plate.
(6) Valve gear without hydraulic tappets.
(7) Various smaller features to help production or overcome complaints.

The car should be ready by a week after the Whitsun. holiday.
