Date: 28-4-1928 Order No. WC98 Customer's No. X 3860 Chassis H.T. ignition cable. We have now completed a series of tests of chassis H.T ignition cable supplied by Messrs Glovers., referred to as "Glover" cable, and the Macintosh Cable Co, referred to as "Maconite" cable. These tests which have covered a long period of time were as follows:- (1) Chemical resistivity of the dielectric, H.T. breakdown tests including the effects on the dielectric of ozone and brush discharge etc, and atmospheric oxidation. The above tests being conducted on new samples of cable and reported in WB{Mr Brazier/Mr Bell}79/3-3-26, WB{Mr Brazier/Mr Bell}93/7-6-26 and WB{Mr Brazier/Mr Bell}99/31-8-26.
