RR 238 (150 BKS.) (DB {Donald Bastow - Suspensions} 431-8 12 24) MP 306975 Y46175 ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. INSTRUCTIONS. To E.F.C. Order No. IC 96. Customer's No. X46175. 3-10-1927 Re Tests on Sandwich S4 Battery (15Y) This battery has now run 30,147 miles on the road & on a low rate discharge through a constant external resistance of 1.80w 54.4 ampere hours were obtained. The P&R cells had slightly less capacity than the Exide & showed negative weakness, whilst the Exide showed positive weakness. On high rate discharge through a constant external resistance of 100w Initial amperes = 102.3 Time to 100 " - 2.8 min. " " 90 " = 7.6 " " " 80 " = 8.8 " This result is much worse than the previous results & all cells showed negative weakness. Signed (acourt-F'y) This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
