Hallam - Head Repairs}/AVS9/KW30.9.29. re the burnt out D.71650 latest Type Coil No. CC-35-X. We give below as requested details of electrical failures on this car - 19.6.28. Car received at "N". Work done :- Remedy complaint of short circuits. Supply and fit 2 12 volt 24 W. bulbs to spot lamps. Make good defective contacts on gauge lamps. 4.2.29. Car received at "N". Work done :- Examine battery and electrical wiring and remedy occasional blowing of fuses when starting up from cold. Test out installation and examine for cause of blowing of fuses. Re-wire battery positive to starter main switch and dist. board. Top up and clean battery. Supply and fit a new coil. 17.8.29. Bt.{Capt. J. S. Burt - Engineer} who called on owner, found dist.
