Messrs.John Marston Ltd.,
WOLVERHAMPTON.

For the attention of Mr.Dunn.

Dear Sirs,

Referring to our telephone conversation recently, this is to confirm that we wish you to put in hand the necessary modified drill jigs to give the same shutter spacing on the Bentley II dummy shutter sets as that of the stiffener tabs, i.e. to give a shutter centre gap of .4375 with the centre shutters of exactly the same section as the other shutters. Our arrangement drawing is being modified accordingly and we will send you a print within the next day or so.

The cost figure for this tool modification to be approximately £8 as given by yourselves to the writer.

You will, of course, bring this modification in as soon as possible but without in any way holding up production of these shutter sets.

Yours faithfully,

for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
