(3531) Expl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}4/MJ.19.7.30. July 19.1930. Mr. Manning, Messrs. Barkers & Co. Ltd., 66/68, South Audley Street, LONDON. Dear Mr. Manning, Thank you for your endeavours to obtain a Chrysler for me. It occurs to me that perhaps Kruse, or some other customers who are always buying the latest makes of cars, might be interested to have an accurate record of their performance on the track before or after purchase. If this was so, we should be most pleased at the same time to obtain such information for them to our mutual benefit, and naturally undertake all expenses of the test. You will realise that we cannot know too much about the progress that is being made in the automobile world. Yours faithfully, For Rolls-Royce Ltd. | ||
