Engineer}7/KW.26.10.34, the results given in this report are very useful and illuminating and show the extraordinary variation of characteristics of the various friction materials available. The benefit of the ball bearing bridge and spring ring is clearly indicated, and the former is also important for maintaining the operational efficiency of the servo as indicated by 10,000 mile tests.
