re Servo Efficiency Tests.

Referring to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/FJH.{Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev. Engineer}7/KW.26.10.34, the results given in this report are very useful and illuminating and show the extraordinary variation of characteristics of the various friction materials available.

The benefit of the ball bearing bridge and spring ring is clearly indicated, and the former is also important for maintaining the operational efficiency of the servo as indicated by 10,000 mile tests.

It might be worth while to try the material used in Hartford shock dampers to see how this behaves.

E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer}
