Y3809 Expl: Dept: Hsl/LG. 9th. Feb. 1926. The Dunlop Rubber Co., Fort Dunlop, Erdington, Birmingham. Dear Sirs, For the attention of Mr. Paull. Development Supt. WELL BASE TYRES AND RIMS. Mr. Royce is running well base wheels and tyres on his car in the south of France and is very pleased with the results. He is anxious to take advantage of the saving in weight with this type of wheel as well as the other improvements. Our Sales people complain bitterly of the increase in the volume of noise with the new tread. We suggest it might help if we brought a car over to Fort Dunlop and carried out one or two tests there so that you would understand exactly what it is we are complaining about. Will you please let us know when it will be convenient for us to make this visit. Yours faithfully, | ||
