Messrs. Rolls Royce, Ltd.
DERBY.

For the attention of Mr. Leslie.
Experimental Dept.

Dear Sirs,

With further reference to our telephone conversation of this afternoon, we are despatching tonight under separate cover, four new connecting rods.

These, you will notice, are of a heavier section. In the shock absorbers now in hand, we are making these 1/8" wider and from the heavier section. These should effect a considerable improvement.

We are taking the questions of heaviness of control and oil resisting gland rubbers up with Mr. Armstrong when he returns tomorrow.

The lid{A. J. Lidsey} pattern we shall have no difficulty in altering and shall return at the earliest possible moment.

The pair of shock absorbers for the Bentley rear are well in hand and we should be despatching these towards the end of the week.

Assuring you of our most careful attention at all times.

Yours faithfully,
p.p. ARMSTRONG'S PATENTS CO. LTD.

Connecting Rods may need filing to suit crank to give full angular movement.
