YOUR REF: OUR REF: AH/R.{Sir Henry Royce} FORT DUNLOP ERDINGTON BIRMINGHAM April 15th.,1931. Messrs.Rolls Royce Co.Ltd., DERBY. For the attention of Mr.Rowbotham. Dear Mr.Rowbotham, On my return from Manchester, I find that two tyres I had prepared for you have been sent off without any advice to you as to what they were. Your London people having rejected our previous samples on account of the lack of non-skid appearance, we have made some alterations which will be obvious to you. We are naturally anxious to meet your Company's wishes as quickly as possible, and I should appreciate early advice from you as to whether the pattern of these two tyres will be regarded as satisfactory. Yours faithfully, FOR THE DUNLOP RUBBER CO.LTD., R Healey Technical Manager. | ||
