Bentley (High Power).

Will you please have 2 camshafts made for development of the high power unit as follows :-

1st Camshaft.

E.32381 inlet cam forms scaled down to .8648/1.00 ratio as previously arranged on Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}965.

E.59272 exhaust cam forms.

Centre line of exhaust cam to lead the centre line of its inlet cam by 107.5°.

Inlet cams to have .750" rad. followers.
Exhaust to have standard Bentley roller followers.

The timing of the shaft with .020" tappet clearance will be -

I.O. 25° B.T.D.C; I.C. 50° P.B.D.C; E.O. 50° B.B.D.C; E.C. 5° P.T.D.C.

2nd Camshaft.

E.32381 Inlet and exhaust cam forms, scaled down to .8648/1.00 ratio.

Centre line of exhaust cam to lead the centre line of its inlet cam by 102.5°.

.750" radius followers, both inlet and exhaust.

The timing of this shaft will be -

I.O. 25° B.T.D.C; I.C. 50° P.B.D.C; E.O. 50° B.B.D.C; E.C. 25° P.T.D.C.
