Dear Mr. Skinner,

We have had another instance where the Carburetter Float Chamber Stud has stripped the thread in the casting. As you already know, we have had one or two instances of this before.

We think that at least another 1/4" of thread is necessary in the float chamber to overcome this stripping, that being as per rough sketch attached.

We would certainly like to try this out, so will you please endeavour to have a pair of float chambers made with this lengthened boss.
