Dear Rowbotham,

I was talking to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}, when he was down here on Friday last, about the brakes on my Bentley. He told me to get in touch with you, as you might be able to put me on your list to try out a set of new brakes.

As I believe I told you when I was last at Derby, the brakes on my car are not too good, in that, if you use them at all hard, they fade right out. Also, squeaking is a very bad point with them.

Have you started to play squash yet this winter? If so, let me know when you are coming down here and we will fix up a game.

Hoping to see you before long,

Yours sincerely,

C.B. Staniland.
