x3806 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey}17/MA. April 25th, 1932. Messrs. Luvax Ltd., Larden Road Acton, London, W.3. Dear Sirs, You may possibly recollect that we have one of our Experimental 20HP cars running about fitted up with a Luvax Automatic Bijur Pump and special low pressure drip plugs to suit. The car has done considerable mileage and is at present being overhauled; included in the overhaul we are converting the lubricating system to the complete one shot system (including front and rear axles). We should be obliged if you could send us along sufficient low pressure drip plugs to fit up the front and rear axles. The present standard plugs used are as follows. Front Axle. 3 - G.77665 Single plugs. 3 - F.78489 S.I plugs. 2 - F.78489 S.2 plugs. 2 - F.78489 S.O plugs. Rear Axle. 4 - F.78489 S.1 drip plugs. 2 - F.78490 D.I. drip plugs. We should be very much obliged if you could send these off to us immediately as the car is needed very urgently. In addition would you include two or three of each size drip plugs as used on the chassis, as spares, in case of loss or damage during the chassis overhaul. Yours faithfully, ROLLS ROYCE LIMITED | ||
