Contd. -2- HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/AJL1/T9.11.26. The absence of the necessity for lubrication during service is a very great advantage. Any modification that reduces the number of points to be lubricated during service must necessarily be greatly appreciated by the car-buying public. Compared with our own type of joint, the American Mechanics Joint is smaller, simpler and from its construction less costly. We are continuing to run this cardan shaft on 9-GIII.
