"Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/RM{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}" Derby X1087 Ps1/JP.1/12/26 RE PHANTOM WINDSCREEN. Your memo "Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}3/LG29/11/26 to hand. I think I know the kind of screen you mean, but it is rather difficult to lay hands on the actual makers. I think on the Continent the Coachmaker is more or less responsible for it, he building the screen into the body. It is less of an accessory than in England. I think the attached illustration of an Hispano with an "AUSTER" wind shield is the type of thing you want, but here again the Coachmaker would be compelled to do quite a lot of special work. The other model " KAP" of which I enclose illustration appears to be more of an accessory and is fitted by means of an apron arrangement. Sorry I cannot do more for you in this respect. Ps. Parr.
