| Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}7/ST.3.6.41 - 3 - 15. MORRIS BOX. The second Morris box has been tested and the standard of silence is as good as with the first one. This has now been stripped and is at Park Leys to enable them to revise the Myth box design. 16. HAND BRAKE LEVERS. We will get some hand brake levers fitted up with anti-corrosion shafts. 17. PATTERN MAKING FOR RATIONALISED ENGINE. As soon as drawings for the 3¾ bore are issued, Walker will take three castings of it. 18. MYTH. Ev{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}/JD.{J. Draper - Frames} will send off the drawings of the frame assembly and front pan in a day or two, so that IF Ward can get it done in time, it can come up with the frame. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/TAS.{T. Allan Swinden} will take up the steering wheel as soon as he comes back from his holiday. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AG. and Ev{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}/JD.{J. Draper - Frames} will get out sufficient instructions to enable Smiths to proceed when their representative comes here on Friday, June 6th. Detailing of the body panels is completed. The dashboard is about to be sent off. The radiator cowl has been made as a model and will go off this week. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AG. is gradually collecting outstanding fittings. He will supply a list of work that requires completion. 19. DETAIL DRAWINGS FOR THE CHASSIS. It was agreed that on Monday, June 16th, all the outstanding detail work necessary to build the Myth chassis would be completed and that Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} would then decide who shall make what and get the parts instructed. 20. LIST OF TROUBLES. We must keep a list of outstanding faults which have not yet been cured, for reference purposes. CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation} will see whether he can find the list made some time ago and, if not, Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager} will have to start another. | ||
