REMOTE CONTROL FOR PETROL TANK RESERVE COMPARTMENT, OPERATED FROM THE DASH. X No. 7460. Drawing No. 5460. Part List Origin. To overcome the difficulty of operating the reserve tap on cars when the rear petrol tank is covered by the bodywork or by cowling. Experimental Test Report. Has not been tested on Experimental cars but has been in use for some time on a special customers car and is fitted to all Continental P.ll cars. There are no new untried parts in the scheme. Road Test Report. It is proposed to adopt this on R.2 Series on P.ll [unreadable] and 101 on 'W' Series for the 25 HP. A Scrap and replace at all costs, including Chassis already delivered to Customers. B Scrap and replace on Chassis in Works. C Scrap present stock and replace on all Chassis not yet handed to test.
