H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} Youngren, Esq. -2- 6.10.37. issue of the "Automobile Engineer" explaining its merits. Do you really find that this has any merits in practice ? Do you think it would enable you to reduce your con.rod crank ratio ? We have been somewhat surprised at the amount of road noise communicated to the body in the Olds-mobile which we have, considering that the frame and body mounting are very similar to that used on other American cars. We shall be interested to know whether your 1938 models have any modification to overcome this trouble. We found it necessary to modify the gear-box as on the Buick, in order to prevent second speed jumping out of gear. The oil consumption of the car we have is remarkably good. Yours sincerely, | ||
