1030 704 14th February, 1941. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/RG.{Mr Rowledge}1/RM.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Messrs. Weathershields Ltd., 48, Moor Street, BIRMINGHAM. For the Attention of Mr. Clements. Dear Sirs, Sliding Roof for Myth. We enclose herewith our drawing RB.{R. Bowen}15001, showing a preliminary layout of the sliding roof that we propose to fit to our sample body. As you will note, the layout is not completed. We have only shown the parts which we suggest should be modified from your standard Autolift, model 555, to give the wind seal as discussed with you during your recent visit to us. If there are any further modifications you can suggest to improve upon this idea, without materially affecting the roof opening as shown, or the action of the roof we propose, will you please advise us at an early date. Should the arrangement submitted herewith be satisfactory, we would like you to construct a sample assembly as per the drawing enclosed. An official order will follow upon receipt of your comments. Yours faithfully, for ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED, | ||
