For the attention of Mr. Robotham. Dear Sirs, You may perhaps remember that for some years I have had a sandwich battery in use on my Bentley car made up with some cells of the thicker plates that you used to use and some with the thinner plates which you now use. After many years' work this battery has now come to an end and you might be interested to know that when we opened it up and examined it that the thin plates were in just as good if not better condition than the thick, which should make us feel easy in our minds about the thin plate type to which you have changed. Yours faithfully, PETO & RADFORD. C.R.Nitchin It may be the fact that there is room for more acid with the thin plates which has helped them. | ||
