Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}S/ML. 20.9.40. D.L.Frise,Esq., Bristol Aeroplane Co., Filton House, BRISTOL. Dear Frise, Thank you for the interesting time you gave us yesterday. I would be grateful for any information you can give me on the following :- 1. Harmonising gears. 2. Electro-pneumatic firing gears. If, furthermore, you could help us by giving us a brief outline of your major problems and limitations on any turret installation, we would be very much indebted to you. We are beginners in the gun business and should like to profit by other peoples' experience. If you should find that you have to come to Derby or Hucknall, please give me a little notice so that I can get the fully automatic gun performing for your edification. Yours sincerely, | ||
