In our H.T. distributors I believe we use nickel.
Would any other metal be more suitable such
as tungsten, real silver or stainless steel ?

Looking at the Bosch distributor head it would
appear that their insulation is considerably less than we
use, and yet you are complaining of tracking of the
same materials.
