Dear Sirs, :FOR THE ATTENTION OF MR. HIVES:
X4367 Referring to the writer's interview with you last week, we have pleasure in advising you that we are putting in hand a Speedometer with black dial, silvered lettering and bevelled glass, finished in similar style to the Weston Ampere Meter. We understand that you require flexes only to a length of 6' 6" in view of the arrangements you are making to incorporate a Speedometer Drive in your gearbox.
We are taking care specially of the point raised during our interview with regard to noise, and will see that the sample instrument meets with your requirements in every way.
X4368 PRESSURE GAUGE.
We also have pleasure in confirming your instructions to supply one sample Gauge indicating to 30 lbs. with a similar finished dial to the Weston instrument, with bevelled glass.
The two instruments above referred to will be sent forward in about 10 days.
Thanking you for your courtesy during our visit,
We beg to remain,
yours faithfully,
pp. S. SMITH & SONS (M.A) LTD.
A W Welsh
