To Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/IMW.{Ivan M. Waller - Head of Chateauroux} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale} Chateauroux. 600a. also 200a Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale}12/MH.{M. Huckerby}23.2.38. BRAKES 26.G.VI AND 6.B.IV. The writer has been instructed to be prepared to go to Chateauroux and to arrange to be met in Paris. We are urging a number of levers, rods, jaws and etc., viz :- A 'T' shaped idler lever for Bentley. A lever to decrease the rear braking partially to compensate for the 'T' lever alteration. A lever to increase the servo to rear braking on Bentley. A lever to reduce the front braking on Wraith. Low μ servo discs for Wraith, to be used with 35° Cams, to cure judders. Rods and jaws for use with the above. These are all likely to be ready in four days time, when we will telegraph you concerning the Paris rendezvous. In the meantime we are experimenting with servo judders on one of our Wraith cars. All we can get as yet are very high frequency judders. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM.{Anthony F.
