Typed: The Harris Bushes at the outer ends of the upper triangle levers are not compressed as drawn and will wear out extremely rapidly. Ev{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}/DB.{Donald Bastow - Suspensions} is in communication with the makers as to suitable design modifications here. Typed: We would like to see the spring washers under the main damper holding bolts replaced by plain washers. The reason for this is that English spring washers are thicker at bore than at the outside diameter, due to the wire being of trapezoidal section after rolling. There is a danger that the stress in the aluminium under the spring washers may be above the creep stress and below the elastic limit, so that bolt tightness would be reduced in time.
