In regard to CJ's instruction that we should sacrifice output if necessary, in order to permit of the correction of this fault at the earliest possible moment, I would like to point out that the number of experiments which are in hand in this connection preclude us doing anything at the moment on a production basis. So far as the slower speed steering is concerned, but it would be possible, if CJ. thinks it advisable, to put in hand material for the damped steering lever, although we have no evidence at the moment that this will be an effective cure of the high speed wobble. | ||
