| 261 ss{S. Smith} Rml/R.{Sir Henry Royce} 12th April, 1938. Raymond Mays, Esq., Eastgate House, BOURNE, Lincs: Dear Mays, I have opened your letters to Grylls as he is away ill, and am afraid will not be back at the Works for a week or two. The rear springs were not changed on your car while it was at Derby. I know that Grylls had a go at the 'drumming Noise' of which you complained while we had the car here, and am sorry that it is not yet satisfactory. I will discuss the matter with him as soon as he gets back to the Factory, and we will see if there is anything more we can do. I regret that I cannot be more helpful, but I have not had much to do with your car. Yours sincerely, | ||
