X.7782 c. Ry/NW.{N. Walker - Patents} EFCL/AD. 22nd October, 1930. Messrs. Peto & Radford, Dagenham Dock, Essex. Dear Sirs, P & R Battery Instruction Pamphlet for R.R. Phantom II Instruction Book. We are enclosing for your consideration a suggested rearrangement of the P & R battery pamphlet of the R.R. Phantom II Instruction Book. Some time back we rearranged our own Instruction Book matter dealing with the electrical system in such a manner that reference to the battery was made therein only as a unit of the system i.e. our own matter did not contain anything concerning the battery as a unit in itself. The further idea was that the battery makers pamphlet should contain nothing but reference to the battery as a unit in itself i.e. no direct reference to any other portion of the electrical system. This scheme has already been carried out so far as the Chloride Cos. battery pamphlet is concerned, and we are enclosing a copy of their pamphlet rearranged in collaboration with ourselves on the lines above explained. This will be necessary to you in your consideration of our suggested rearrangement of your pamphlet in that we suggest that one portion in particular, namely, "Charging in Garage from External Source" should be included in | ||
