There was a very interesting article by Mantell in the "Automobile Engineer" of last month, on carburation.

I should like you to observe his remarks on valve timing and its effect on flat spots, and also upon the way in which the balance pipe in a 2-carburettor, 6-cylinder induction system, reacts on idling.

We will then have a discussion on the subject.
