We send you herewith Scheme Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}296 which shows a two alternative high speed fan drive for the P.III. Cadillac fan, and a rig for testing same, which W.Bell can utilise on a suitable electric motor which he has. Will you please have the necessary parts made - the actual new parts requiredare - Steel base plate. Driving spindle. Two driving pulleys. Two fan hubs. Driving spider. Locking nut. Support plate and distance pieces. We should like to have the rig parts in advance of the new fan drives so that the rig can be fitted up while the pulleys etc. are being finished. We require these parts as soon as possible as we have to obtain a high speed drive for Mr. H.E. Symons P.III. for Kenya. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. | ||
